Despite having gone out of production some years ago this is still the best basic feature phone I have found so far, and way better than the current models I have tried such as Nokia 105 or Artfone C1+ (the latter so horrible to use and poorly made that I sent it back). The Samsung C-3350 has a nice clear display, good battery life, sensible user interface, and is generally well-made. I was pleased to find some old new stock, even if expensive. It's a pity though that Kies (Samsung's software) does not let you download your saved text messages to a PC; that would be very useful.

A great phone that is as tough as they come. My old one, bought new in 2005 I think, cost around £60. As they are no longer sold in the UK by Samsung, when I misplaced my phone I had to buy an old stock, new one, which cost £149.I was lucky to see it on e-bay as they are now quite rare. It is what it is, a good quality, very tough phone that does what a phone should. I don't get on with Smartphones, too delicate for me, I prefer my electronics separate. I would recommend one to anybody requiring a good basic phone that will stand up to rough handling. Oh.. and the battery lasts for days and days!

battery casing lock mechanism is dodgey. -had a few of them the same.... begs the question how waterproof it would be but i dont care that much as nothing that similar about (jcb phone??) and i just sstick a bit of gaffa tape over it so itdoesnt undo itself/let water in. other than that bomb proof. (actually i think i saw a review where someone tried to break it via various means and when he shot it with a rifle it broke! -so not bullet proof fyi!) not sure if the cap over battery charge point is going stand the test of time. ive researched phones and think this probably one of best phones around -if can find one on ebay cheap you got a good phone imo.
Samsung have made another quality phone. In terms of functionality with a nice size screen, decent camera, with the 32gb ( optional extra ) sdcard, and internet capability and it's all wrapped up in a steel outer shell. Working in a tough environment, this ticks all the boxes.
