I am really pleased with this little machine, it does what it says on the tin. My hall thats were i positioned it is so fresh every one remarks on how clean and welcoming it makes things. However i do have to complain about one thing and that is that i have found it can make my hall quite cold especilly in the evening when it gets quite nippy. The way i deal with this problem is to simply turn it off. I usr the sented oils in it and this makes not only my hall smell lovely but the stairs and bedrooms smell nice too. All in all a pretty good machine for the money, could you look at providing a glass bowl i would be quite happy to pay extra for this, its just the plastic looks and feels cheap. ( takes away from the overall look ) ,

Two things wrong with this unit. 1. There is no switch to turn the unit on or off. There is a switch to turn the colour changing LED on or off only. 2. It's far too noisy. Given the noise level, you really don't want it turned on when you are in a quiet room, so you want to turn the unit off, but you can't turn it off because there is no switch, you have to unplug it. There are other models of water based air purifiers which are a lot quieter and about the same price or cheaper. In my experience the problem with all these types of device is the quality of the motors, they eventually wear out and either stop working all together, or the noise level dramatically increases.

After Years of trying to find a decent home aroma's unit, this has probably come out the Best so far. You Will though use up the essence oils rather quickly if you use it on 24/7 cycles, but with a combination of having my basement flat windows open on nice days, and closed on other, this unit comes into its own when all doors are shut and I need a nice aroma to cheer up spirits. It's great that this unit came with 3 essence oils included, which allows me to find the most favourable before buying replacements. All in all I find this super Easy and very Efficient to use from between my kitchen, bathroom and bedroom as the fan noise is a Little intrusive, and certainly noticeable if sat in the same room in silence. But that positioning for me offers a nice balance to rid the air of any offensive smells between various rooms, and blasting it on first thing and/or last thing at night for a few hours each suits me just fine, as I noticed that there wasn't a huge amount of dirty water when left on longer which is encouraging, and the more Blue (called violet) light, Does offer a nice room glow and I'm sure helps to ease calm... I've just received the 2nd one of these. I decided to replace the first one, because sometimes, it would make a noise when it started spinning. I tried an electrostatic one because I thought a silent one would be even better - and it was silent because it didn't work! So back to my favourite.! Unfortunately, I've forgotten when I bought the original one, but it I've certainly had it for several years (the eBay purchase history only goes back to 2017) and it has been used every night for several hours before bedtime.. I can't comment on the fragrances because I make up my own with a mixture of essential oils. It's a low-level whooshing noise, basically white noise, when I've left it on overnight. it's not disturbed my sleep. It does need the water changed and a quick clean - I do it every 2-3 days. Bought this item to help tackle the doggy smell in my little flat. Works perfectly. Flat is now smelling fresh and lovely. Not too noisy. Am going to try lavender oil to help calm the dogs when the student numpties who live near me next let off fireworks. The pretty light is a nice added bonus!
